Do I need to subscribe to a plan to record video?

No. Recording footage doesn’t require a subscription. The footage is default saved to the microSD card which you need to buy by yourself.
If you want to backup your video clips, you can configure the NAS settings or store in the cloud. We provide a cloud backup service optional.
