Can S300/S330 eufyCam be installed outside?

Yes. S300/S330 eufyCam can be installed outdoors. HomeBase cannot be installed outdoors.

The camera is operational outdoors in temperatures ranging from -4°F to 122°F (-20°C to 50°C).

If the temperature is below -4°F (-20°C), the battery’s chemistry activity is reduced, resulting in lower battery levels and shorter battery life; however, the camera remains operational in such conditions. When the weather becomes warmer, battery life will resume to normal times.

If the temperature is higher than 122°F (50°C), the camera will indicate in the EufySecurity app when it is overheating and switch off automatically. Once the camera cools down, it will boot up and continue to run.

What height or angle should eufyCam be installed at?

We recommend you install the eufyCam no higher than 3m from the ground and the downtilt to be no bigger than 15°.

When should I use the secure outdoor mount?

If there are frequent heavy rains, strong winds, hail and other bad weather, please use the secure outdoor mount bracket to install the camera. And we recommend you install a shield to proof the rain or water.
